Operations software for groups running several businesses

Aspireco builds the operating layer for groups running several businesses or brands: one identity, one automation estate and one place for customer data, instead of a stack per brand. Business OS runs the eleven businesses in our portfolio this way.

Eleven stacks, eleven logins

Running eleven businesses on eleven stacks meant eleven logins, eleven bills and no consolidated view. The alternative — a single vendor suite — means renting your operations and paying per seat for the privilege.

One identity, one estate

Business OS puts every business behind one identity provider, so access is granted and revoked in one place instead of eight, and runs a shared estate of 117 workflows, namespaced per business.

Owned, not rented

CRM, wiki, invoicing, campaign email and customer conversations are self-hosted on infrastructure we control. The subscriber list — over nine thousand — and the conversation history stay owned, because they are the two assets most expensive to rebuild after a vendor change.

Adding the next brand

A new venture inherits the routing, notification and escalation patterns already running instead of rebuilding them, and secrets rotate centrally without redeploying every system that uses them.

Questions

Can several brands share one operating stack without mixing their data?

The shared automation estate in Business OS is namespaced per business, and access is granted and revoked per person in one place. How much of the rest to share between brands is a design decision the audit makes with you.

Is a shared self-hosted stack cheaper than per-seat tools for a group?

It depends on headcount and how many tools each brand pays for. Subscription cost scales with people and build cost scales with scope; for a group, the per-seat bill is multiplied by every brand.

Can we add a new brand without a new software stack?

That is the point of a shared layer: a new venture inherits the identity, routing, notification and escalation patterns already running, instead of rebuilding them.
