Stripe payments and Stripe Connect

Aspireco builds on Stripe for checkout, buy-now-pay-later, subscriptions and multi-vendor payouts. Our own systems use it three ways: financing on a large-catalogue storefront, split payouts on a vendor marketplace, and subscription billing for a voice-receptionist product.

Checkout and financing

On Shopflooring, large-ticket orders can use Klarna, Afterpay or Affirm through Stripe, with freight rated before checkout so the financed total is the real one.

Marketplaces on Stripe Connect

Norpex runs Stripe Connect Express: vendors complete their own onboarding, sell under one checkout, and payouts settle automatically on a schedule, with escrow between sale and release. A Stripe event router is one of five always-on automations behind it.

Subscriptions

Asisly, our own voice receptionist, bills its customers across five subscription plans.

The part that goes wrong

Payment requests retry and webhooks resend, so every event handler has to be idempotent: the same event arriving twice must not charge or pay twice. More in idempotency and payments.

Questions

Can you add buy-now-pay-later to our online store?

Yes. Shopflooring offers Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm through Stripe on large-ticket orders. The part that needs care is making sure the financed total already includes freight and tax, so the customer is not charged again later.

What is Stripe Connect Express good for?

Marketplaces where independent sellers get paid: Stripe handles each vendor's onboarding and payouts while the platform takes payment under one checkout. On Norpex, payouts settle on a schedule with an escrow step between sale and release.

Our Stripe integration sometimes double-charges. Can you fix it?

Usually, yes. That pattern normally means webhook events are not being handled idempotently, or failures are not reaching anyone. The audit traces how payment events move through your systems before anything is changed.
