Software for wholesalers and distributors

Aspireco builds software for wholesalers and distributors whose store, trade portal, warehouse tool and CRM each hold a different idea of what a customer and a price are. The fix is one schema behind every surface, which is how Oryx, our distribution platform in development, is built.

Four systems, four prices

Distributors end up with a public store, a trade portal, a warehouse tool and a CRM bought separately, each with its own idea of what a customer and a price are. Reconciling them becomes a full-time job that produces no revenue.

One application over one ledger

Oryx serves a storefront, a dealer portal, an operations back office and a sales CRM from one application. Trade tiers keep markup and margin apart, estimates are versioned PDFs with tracked delivery, and seven roles are scoped to the row below the interface.

Search that finds the part

Search runs exact SKU first, then prefix, then full text, then fuzzy, so a buyer who types a part number gets that part.

Selling through small suppliers

Norpex, a marketplace we built and run, brings small distributors under one checkout, with self-serve onboarding and scheduled payouts. And Shopflooring shows the catalogue side: twenty-plus supplier price lists normalised into one schema.

Questions

Can one system run our web store and our trade portal?

Yes, if they share one schema. Oryx serves a public store, a dealer portal, a back office and a CRM from one application, so a customer and a price mean the same thing everywhere.

Can trade customers see their own pricing tier online?

Yes. Trade tiers are part of the pricing model, with markup and margin held apart rather than conflated, so each account sees the price that applies to it.

Do we need EDI to sell to large retailers?

Only if a trading partner requires it. Until then, the bigger win is usually ending the re-keying between your own store, warehouse and accounting systems.
